UP Ration cards are official documents issued by the Uttar Pradesh state government. These cards are provided to households that are eligible to buy subsidized grains through the Public Distribution System (PDS) under the National Food Security Act (NFSA).

UP Ration cards are provided based on the total number of members in a family, and every category of a ration card determines a person's entitlement to rationed goods. To view the name-wise Uttar Pradesh ration card list 2025, you can visit nfsa.up.gov.in.

It is also available on the NFSA portal, and you can obtain it by selecting your village, district, and other details. You can also obtain a digital copy of your UP ration card by downloading it using your ration card number.

How to Check Uttar Pradesh Ration (Rashan) Card List for 2025?

You can check the Uttar Pradesh ration card list by following these steps

Step 1 - Visit FSC UP Gov Official Site Visit the official website of the Department of Food and Logistics, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh (https://fcs.up.gov.in/).

Step 2 - Check NFSA Eligibility List When you are taken to the homepage, click on the 'NFSA eligibility list’ which you will see on the right side of the page. After you open the link, you will see a list of districts in Uttar Pradesh.

Step 3 - Find your District Click on the district of your choice. Then, select your area. (There is a separate list for urban areas and rural areas). Then select your ration distributor/shopkeeper.

Step 4 - Find the list of distributors. Once you click on the distributor, you will see a list of all the ration cardholders under the selected distributor.

APL cards(Above Poverty Line)

APL cards are given to people who are above the poverty line and their annual income is above Rs.10,000.

AAY cards.(Antyodaya Anna Yojana)

AAY ration cards are issued to individuals who do not have a stable source of income and are very poor

How to Apply for Uttar Pradesh Ration Card?

You can download and print your ration card application. You will find the form on the official website of the concerned authority.

  • Visit the official website of FCS, UP i.e. https://fcs.up.gov.in.
  • Once you reach the homepage, select 'Download Forms'.
  • From the dropdown list, click on  'Application Forms'. You will see the links to application forms for urban and rural areas.
  • Select your application form link. Now, the application form will appear.
  • Download the application form.
  • Print your form and fill in all the details.
  • Submit the application at the regional CSC center or Tehsil centre.
  • (Any application form which has wrong or incomplete information will be rejected)

How to Check the Status of Your UP Ration Card?

If you want to check the status of your Uttar Pradesh ration card, follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1 - Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh FCS.

Step 2 - Choose your gram panchayat, block, and district.

Step 3 - Click on the ration dealer’s name in your area.

Step 4 - A list will appear on the screen. Look for your name on the list.

Your ration card has been approved if your name appears on the list. Otherwise, your application was denied, and you need to check the status again in a few days.

How to Add a New Member to the Uttar Pradesh Ration Card?

The steps to add your family members to your Uttar Pradesh ration card are as follows:

Step 1 - Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh FCS.

Step 2 - Navigate to the ‘Ration Card section.

Step 3 - Click on the option to add a new member.

Step 4 - Enter the details of your family member.

Step 5 - Upload a soft copy of all the relevant documents.

Step 6 - Submit the application. The new member will be added upon verification of documents.

How to Delete a Member from the Uttar Pradesh Ration Card?

The steps to remove a member from your Uttar Pradesh ration card are as follows:

Step 1 - Collect the required paperwork to remove a member from your ration card.

Step 2 - Visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh ration card and select the ‘Download Forms’ option.

Step 3 - Click on the ‘Ration Card Deletion Form’ option.

Step 4 - Print the application and complete it with the necessary data.

Step 5 - Enclose the necessary paperwork with the application, such as a copy of the ration card, identity proof, and address proof.

Step 6 - Visit the nearest ration office and submit your application.

Step 7 - An acknowledgement slip will be sent to you after you submit the application.

You can also delete a member from the list by visiting the nearest CSC office and asking for a document to delete the member from the list. Fill in the details and submit it along with other necessary documents. The name of the member will be removed once all the details are verified.
