Types of Ration Card Provided in Haryana

The Haryana government issues various types of ration cards, such as green, yellow, pink, and khaki and here are some of the types of ration cards:

1. Green cards are offered to people under the APL (Above Poverty Level) category.

1. Pink ration cards are issued to families who come under AAY category and are extremely poor who are not able to earn their livelihood.

BPL or AAY cards holders will get the ration card at subsidized rate mentioned below:

1. BPL card: 5 kg of wheat at the rate of Rs.2 per kg

1. AAY card: 35 kg wheat at the rate of Rs.2 per kg
2. At Rs.13.50 per kg, card holder will get two kg sugar.
3. At the rate of Rs.13.63 to Rs.14.58 per kg, cardholders will get 7 liters of kerosene.
4. At the rate of Rs.20 per kg, cardholders will get 2.5 kg pulses

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the Food and Civil Supplies Department of Haryana.  

Step 2 - Select the 'PDS Portal' tab.

Step 3 - Once you click this, you will be taken to a new page. Here, select on the 'E-public distribution system' tab.  

Step 4 - You will be directed to a new window once you click on the 'E-PDS' tab. Hover over the 'report tab' and click it.  

Step 5 - After you select 'MIS & Report', select the ration card tab.  

Step 6 - Click on your required district from the list.

Step 7 - After you select your district, click on the AFSO for the region.

Step 8 - Now, you can look for your closest shop and the ration card list will appear.  

How to Download Haryana Ration Card?

Step 1: Visit the official website of Food and Civil Supplies Department, Haryana (https://epds.haryanafood.gov.in)

Step 2: Click on ‘Citizen’ option

Step 3: Click on the option of ‘Search Ration Card’

Step 4: After the new page appears, enter Family ID

Step 5: Enter the captcha code

Step 6: Click on the ‘Get Member Details’ option

Step 8: click on Send OTP option

Step 9: OTP (One Time Password) will be received on the registered mobile number of the selected Family ID

Step 10: Enter the OTP and click on ‘Verify’

3. If you are applying for the first time, you should register by entering your name, mobile number, and e-mail id.
4. If you have already registered, you can enter your e-mail id and password and log in.

Here are the steps to check Haryana ration card status online:

1. You can check the status of your ration card application by visiting the Haryana Saral Portal.
2. You can also check the status of your ration card application via SMS.
   1. Type in SARAL < space > < Application ID/Ticket No. >
   2. Send this msg to the number, 7738299899 for tracking your application.
