SBI net banking users can register their PAN Card themselves by using their online accounts. Below Steps will Guide you through the Process of PAN Registration.
Step 1 - Visit the website www.onlinesbi.com .
Step 2 - In the website, click on the option "Profile-PAN Registration"which is included under the "My Accounts" option that is present on the left hand side of the screen.
Step 3 - After following the step mentioned previously, you will be redirected to a page where you will be required to choose the Account number, and enter the PAN number.
Step 4 - Next, click on the "Submit" option below.
Step 5 - Once you click on the "Submit" option, the request to link the PAN Card with your SBI account will be processed.
The request usually takes up to 7 days to be processed for SBI to link your PAN number with your account. The status of the request will be sent to on the registered mobile number. You can use the "Status" option beside the "Create request" to track the status of your PAN registration.

The following are the steps to link a PAN Card with an SBI account using the YONO application:
Step 1 - Enter MPIN or username and password to log into the SBI YONO application
Step 2 - Click on ‘Service Request’ option
Step 3 - To link the PAN Card with SBI account, click on ‘Profile’ section
Step 4 - Add the PAN Card in the PAN linkage section.
Step 5 - Under the Add or Update PAN, enter the PAN number and click on ‘Next’.
Step 6 - The confirmation message of processing the request for linking PAN with the SBI account will be displayed on the screen.
Here are the steps to add your PAN to SBI account using phone banking:
Step 1 - Call the customer care hotline on 1800 1234 and 1800 2100.
Step 2 - Select your language on the IVR.
Step 3 - Press 2 for Phone Banking and Account-related Services.
Step 4 - Press 9 to speak to an SBI customer service executive.
Step 5 - Tell the executive that you want to add your PAN to the account. Provide all the necessary details.
The executive will ask questions such as your name and date of birth to confirm your identity. You may further be required to visit your home branch or the nearest SBI branch and provide a copy of your PAN Card.

You can register your PAN Card in an SBI account via SMS by sending ‘UIDPAN’ (space) 12-digit Aadhaar number (space) 10-digit PAN to 567678 or 56161 from the registered mobile number.
