To complete the process of your application for an Indian Bank Credit Card, you need to submit the following documentation.
The billing cycle refers to a particular date of every month that is chosen to be the billing date. Your interest-free period on each purchase will be determined by this date. The table below depicts the billing date for each credit card. The payment date will usually be 15 days after the bill is generated.
There are no limits on the number of transactions you can carry out in a day on your Indian Bank Credit Card. The Bharat Card has a limit of 5 transactions per day and cash withdrawals are limited to two per day.
In case you lose your Indian Bank credit card, report it to the Indian Bank credit card customer care immediately. Your card will be blocked and the bank will issue a new one. If you suspect your card is stolen or there is any misuse of the card, you need to file an FIR with the police and submit a copy to Indian Bank Credit Card Centre.
If you miss paying the minimum amount due, a penalty will be imposed. Your credit limit will be reduced till you make the payment on your credit card. If you miss making payments on your credit card continuously for two months, then your card will be blocked and an additional fee will be levied. Continued delay for three months will result in you being marked as a defaulter.
The credit card bill will be generated on the 20th day of every month which came into effect from 20th September 2024. The due date to make the payment for the credit card bill will be 4th and 5th day of the succeeding month.
You can block your Indian Bank credit card by following any one of the steps given below: Send an SMS typing 'BLOCKCC' and send it to the number 56767 from your registered mobile. You will immediately get a confirmation message for the same or Call the customer care number 1800 425 00000 where you can ask the customer care executive to get your card blocked or You can send an email to creditcard@indianbank.co.in requesting for your credit card to be blocked.
If you have gotten your credit card blocked and after it found your lost card, do not use it. Instead, destroy it by cutting it across the magnetic strip. Once you have your card blocked, the bank will issue you a duplicate credit card.
