Banks across India will be closed tomorrow, 11 January 2025, as it is the second Saturday. This closure follows the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines. Both public and private sector banks will be affected. While bank branches are closed, money markets such as market repo, term money, and call/notice money will remain operational. However, government securities, OTC derivatives, and forex markets will be closed. Payment systems like cheque clearing, NEFT, and RTGS will also be unavailable.
