  1. You can always call the helpline number 39 02 02 02 (make sure to use prefix local STD code). You can also dial 1860 180 1290 for blocking your credit card
  2. Send an SMS "BLOCK XXXX" (The last 4 digits of your credit card) to the number, 5676791 from your registered mobile number

Reporting Your Lost Credit Card Through the SBI Website

  1. Visit the site sbicard.com
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Go to the Requests tab
  4. Select 'Report Lost/Stolen Card'
  5. Click on your card number to report your lost card
  6. For a card re-issue, select 'Reissue Card'
  7. Click on 'Submit'
  8. Your credit card will be blocked

  1. Login to your account via the SBI app
  2. Select 'Menu'
  3. Click on 'Service Request'
  4. Tap on 'Report Lost/Stolen'

By Calling Customer Care

You can call SBI's customer care number to unblock the credit card. Ensure that you call customer care from the registered mobile number.

Online Portal

  1. Visit the official website of SBI Card
  2. Complete the login procedure
  3. Select 'Card Activation'. The option can be found under the 'Request' tab
  4. Select the card you wish to unblock to complete the process

  1. Visit the bank's 'Write to Us' page
  2. Enter the card number
  3. Enter the mobile number, email ID, and name
  4. Enter the OTP that is sent to the mobile number
  5. Choose the category
  6. Choose the sub-category
  7. Provide the details and request for the card to be unblocked
  8. Once the complaint has been accepted, the card will be unblocked

By Visiting the Bank Branch

You can visit an SBI branch and request for the card to be unblocked. A request will be raised to unblock the credit card.

Written Application

A written application can be submitted to the SBI manager requesting for the card to be unblocked.
