Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for IBPS PO Exam 2024 are as follows: 

1. Should be a citizen of India/a subject of Bhutan or Nepal/a Tibetan refugee who came to the country before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement/a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Vietnam, Sri Lanka or the East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement. All those who have come from other countries and settled here must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
2. Should have a graduation degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
3. Should have a valid mark sheet or degree certificate which supports that he/she is a graduate.
4. Must have working knowledge of computer operation.
5. Should have verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the state or union territory.
6. Should be between 20 and 30 years of age.
7. Age relaxation for aspirants belonging to reserved categories shall be as mentioned in the table below:

   1. Should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
   2. Should be between 18 and 28 years of age.

1. Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
   1. Should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent (Candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy shall be given preference.
   2. Should be above 18 years and below 30 years of age.

   1. Should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate.
   2. Must have experience of two years as an officer in a bank or financial institution
   3. Should be above 21 years and below 32 years of age.
2. Information Technology Officer
   1. Should have a bachelor's degree in Electronics/Communication/Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
   2. Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. desirable
   3. One year of experience in the relevant field
   4. Should be above 21 years and below 32 years of age.
3. Chartered Accountant
   1. Should be a certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India
   2. Should have experience of one year as a Chartered Accountant
   3. Should be above 21 years and below 32 years of age.

IBPS Clerical Exam

The IBPS Clerical Exam 2023 will be held in two parts. They are Preliminary and Mains exam. Both the exams shall be carried out online. The exam pattern of both the exams are listed below:

Preliminary Exam - The preliminary exam will be of one hour duration and comprise of three sections with a total of 100 questions. The three sections are - English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The section wise details are listed below:

Mains Exam

When it comes to the Mains, there shall be four sections with a total of 190 questions with the duration of the exam being 2 hours 40 minutes. The four sections are - General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Note: For both the preliminary Main exams, a penalty 0.25 will be deducted for every incorrect answer. However, if you need the question blank there shall be no penalty.

IBPS RRB Exam 2024

Just like the IBPS Clerical exam, the PO exam is also held in two parts - IBPS Preliminary exam and IBPS Mains exam. Both the exams are conducted online. It is followed by the interview process. The exam pattern of both the online tests are mentioned below:

Preliminary exam

The preliminary exam is of one-hour duration. It has three sections comprising of a total of 100 questions. The three sections are English language, numerical ability, and reasoning ability. The section wise details are listed below:

Mains exam

The IBPS PO Mains exam has both objective and descriptive type questions. The objective paper is of 200 marks having a total of four sections with the duration of the test being 180 minutes. The descriptive paper has one section having a total of 25 marks with 30 minutes duration. It must be noted here that candidates must attempt the sections in the same order and within the time allotted for each section. The section wise details are listed below:

IBPS RRB Exam 2024

When it comes to IBPS RRB exam 2023, the pattern is different of both the Office Assistant and Officer Grade exams. While IBPS RRB Assistant exam comprises of two phases namely preliminary and mains, the officer's exam is made up of preliminary, mains and interview.
