Agriculture Field Officer Job Profile 

Agriculture Field Officer post is primarily concerned with promoting bank services to farmers and landlords in the rural regions. The AFO is tasked with disbursement of loans to farmers, reviewing the agricultural loans, and increasing rural funding. The key role of AFO is to help farmers become aware of banking facilities and to help them in the event of crop failure.

The applicant must have a four-year graduation degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Husbandry/Veterinary Science/Diary Science/Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/Agri Marketing and Cooperation/ Co-operation and Banking/ Agroforestry/ Forestry/ Agricultural Biotechnology/ Food Science/ Agricultural Business Management/ Food Technology/ Diary Technology/ Agricultural Engineering/ Sericulture/ Fisheries Engineering 
  1. The applicant must be between 20 and 30 years of age

Job profile of Agricultural Field Officer:

As part of the job, you will need to carry out the following things:

  1. Carry out pre-loan inspection and follow up when it comes to recovering of loan
  2. Coordinate with panchayats
  3. Promote, distribute, and expand loan products of the bank in rural areas of the country
  4. Generate leads
  5. Carry out verification of revenue reports
  6. Stay in touch with senior authorities like RBI, NABARD, RRBs and share progress

Given below are the steps to apply for IBPS AFO Exam: 

  1. Visit the official website of IBPS. 
  2. Click on ‘Click here for New Registration’ option. 
  1. Enter all your details like your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID and click on ‘Register’. 
  2. You will receive a provisional registration number and password on your registered mobile number and email ID. 
  3. Next, you need to login to the portal using your credentials. 
  4. Enter all other details such as your academic qualification, preferred exam center, work experience, etc. 
  5. Now, upload your recent passport size photograph and signature. 
  1. Finally, click on ‘Submit’ to proceed to the payment process. 
  2. You can make the payment using your net banking, credit or debit card, IMPS, or wallet. 
  3. An e-receipt will be generated after the completion of the payment procedure. You can download it for your future reference.

  1. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwBD categories, the application fee charged is Rs.175

Online application process for UPSSC PET 2021 exam closing soon

The last date for registration and submission of application for Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2021 is approaching fast. With the application process closing in a week, interested and eligible candidates can submit their application online through the official website. Aspirants who wish to apply for the test must have passed the class 10 exam from the recognized board and be above 18 years of age. Those above the age of 40 years are not eligible to apply for the exam. The applicable fee for the exam is Rs.185 for general and OBC category candidates, Rs.95 for SC/ ST candidates and Rs.25 for physically handicapped (PH) candidates. The payment of application fee can be made online via debit/credit Card, net banking, e-challan or SBI Collect.

NABARD 2020 Grade A Mains Exam dates announced on the official website

The National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development or NABARD has recently announced the official dates for the NABARD 2020 Grade A Mains Exam on its official website.

As per the notice issued by the institution, the exam is scheduled to be conducted on 24 September 2020. Candidates who will be shortlisted for the prelim exams will be able to download the NABARD Grade A Mains 2020 admit card in online mode. They will be required to appear on the date of examination as per the schedule. The institution has also advised the candidates to follow the preventive measures and government guidelines of social distancing in order to reduce the risk of COVID-19 contamination.
