Canara Bank PO recruitment is held for the selection of candidates for the role of Probationary Officers in Junior Grade Scale I. This is held after the candidates successfully complete the Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course.
This is a one-year training course that can be applied for through Manipal Global Education Services Pvt. Ltd. (Bengaluru Campus) or NITTE Education International Pvt. Ltd. (Greater Noida Campus).
The candidates for this course are selected through an online objective test which is followed by Group Discussion (GD) and a personal interview. This test is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). The selection process, however, is conducted by Canara Bank. Candidates are also selected for the Canara Bank PO post through the IBPS PO exam.

No, as per the rules of the examination, you will not be allowed to go forward to the next round of the selection process if you fail to secure the minimum cut off marks in any one of the 4 sections of the online test.
