All applicants must now physically show up at the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) with their original documents and the Application Print receipt after submitting their applications online.

  • What is a Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK)?

The front-end services related to passport issuing are provided by Passport Seva Kendras and Post Office Passport Seva Kendras, which are offshoots of Passport Offices. Among other things, these Kendras offer services including providing tokens and approving requests to issue and reissue passports.

  • Where should I mail the official passport application form for diplomats?

The PSP Division at Patiala House in New Delhi is frequently the only location that accepts applications for diplomatic and official passports. However, you are permitted to submit a request to the passport agency in charge of your current place of residence.

If they submit an original identity document that complies with Annexure "A" along with the application form, employees of governmental, public sector, and statutorily required bodies are eligible to apply for passports without going through police verification. If they submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) (as per Annexure "G") and a Prior Intimation Letter (PI) (as per Annexure "H") as extra papers in addition to the application form, they may get a passport based on post-police verification.

  • In order to schedule a time for Tatkaal applications, I am required to select an appointment quota. What is meant by an appointment quota?

For "Tatkaal" candidates, there are two appointment quotas available: "Regular" and "Tatkaal."
