How to Reschedule Passport Appointment

1. You can apply for a new passport online via the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) website. 

1. Applicants need to fill out forms with necessary information and, if needed, upload ID and address proofs. 

1. An application fee must be paid online. 

1. After payment, choose a nearby PSK or Regional Passport Office (RPO) and select a date and time for your appointment.

Steps to Reschedule/Cancel Appointment Online

Step 1: Visit the official Passport Seva website and log in using your credentials.

Step 2: Click on the 'View Saved/Submitted Applications' tab and choose the 'Schedule Appointment' option.

Step 3: Choose the applicable option from the two provided- 'Reschedule Appointment' if you wish to change the date/time or 'Cancel Appointment'.

Step 4: Individuals will have to visit the official website of the Passport Seva Kendra and log in using their credentials.

Step 5: They will then have to click on the tab titled 'View Saved/Submitted Applications' and choose the option titled 'Schedule Appointment for Application Submission'.

Step 6: On this page, there will be two options : ‘Reschedule Appointment’ and ‘Cancel Appointment’. No cancellation is necessary for rescheduling an appointment. Please be aware that you may only change or cancel your appointment three times during a calendar year starting from the date of your passport application. After selecting either choice, a pop-up will appear showing how many more cancellation/rescheduling attempts you have left.

Step 7: If you choose to reschedule, choose a fresh slot from the available slots and click 'Book Appointment' to confirm your appointment.

Step 8: You will be taken to a page with the revised appointment details. Click on 'Print Application Receipt' and carry the same with you for your appointment.
