Convert SBI Credit Card Payment into EMI or Flexipay

SBI offers three different methods to convert your credit card transactions into EMI payments.

  • Internet banking: Users of SBI credit cards can seek EMI conversion by logging into their respective net banking accounts. When you log in to SBI net banking, you will see Benefits > Flexipay on the left-hand menu. It will send you to a new page where you must select the eligible transaction to be converted into EMI, the repayment period, and the applicable interest rate. After you've selected all the details, click 'confirm'. The option is available on both the SBI website and the SBI card mobile app.
  • Send an SMS: You may also send an SMS FP to 56767. SBI executives will call you back. Please let them know the transaction you want to convert to EMI, as well as the tenure and other details. If you are satisfied with the SBI interest rate and other charges, you can apply for FlexiPay on the same call.
  • Call SBI customer care: You can contact SBI credit card customer service to convert your credit card transaction into EMIs. SBI gives two separate service numbers for the service. Customers of BSNL/MTNL can contact 1860 180 1290, while others can call 39 02 02 02 (prefix your local STD code) to use the service

When arranging an EMI conversion over the phone, make sure you have your credit card accessible because you may be asked for your credit card number and other information. When the request is submitted, SBI will send you a confirmation message to your registered cellphone number. Your application will be completed within five working days.
