RBL credit card users must generate a 4-digit PIN to activate their credit cards and conduct point-of-sale (POS) and ATM transactions. If you are a new RBL credit card user and are confused about how to generate PIN, the below listed are various methods through which you can generate, change or reset your RBL credit card PIN.
RBL credit card PIN can be generated in multiple ways. They are as listed below:
Step 1: Login to your RBL net banking account.
Step 2: Click on the ‘Requests’ option present at the top-right corner of the page.
Step 3: Select the option ‘Credit Card’.
Step 4: Select the option ‘Credit Card PIN set/ reset’.
Step 5: Fill in your card’s expiry date
Step 6: Click on the send OTP option
Step 7: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and set a new PIN.

Step 2: Log in to the app and navigate to the credit card section.
Step 3: Select the 'PIN Change' option.

Step 5: You will receive confirmation upon the successful PIN change.
If you don't have access to RBL internet banking, you can generate your credit card PIN by visiting RBL website. Mentioned below are the steps to generate RBL credit card PIN online.
Step 1: Visit RBL's online credit card PIN request page at https://applications.rblbank.com/creditcard-pin-change
Step 2: Enter 16-digit RBL credit card number
Step 3: Enter date of birth of the cardholder and credit card expiry date
Step 4: Click on 'Send OTP' button
Step 5: Enter the OTP received on your mobile in the next column
Step 6: Enter a new PIN of your choice and re-enter the same to confirm
Step 7: Click on 'Change PIN'
Step 8: Once the OTP is validated, you will see the message that the PIN has been set successfully.
Please note that generating your RBL Credit Card PIN via the RBL customer care IVR requires a TPIN. If you haven't generated a TPIN yet, you can find the steps to do so in the next section. It is recommended that you call customer care from a landline or, if not possible, from a non-registered mobile number.
Step 1: You need to call on the 24×7 toll-free RBL Bank customer care number printed on the back of your card. A complete list of RBL Bank credit card customer care numbers can be found on their website.
Step 2: You will be connected to the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system.
Step 3: Press 3 to select Credit Card services.
Step 4: Press 2 for the Cards Menu.
Step 5: Fill in your 16-digit card number and press the ‘#’ key.
Step 6: Enter your TPIN and press #. If you haven't generated your TPIN yet, refer to the next section on how to create it.
Step 7: Press 5 to set or change your RBL credit card PIN.
Step 8: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 9: Fill in your credit card's CVV number followed by #.
Step 10. Enter the card's expiry date (MM/YY) followed by #.
Step 11: Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number followed by #.
Step 12: Set a new 4-digit PIN and press the # key.
Once the PIN has been successfully generated, you will receive a confirmation message.
Telephone Personal Identification Number (TPIN) is used to authenticate a customer's interactions with RBL Bank through customer care or IVR. This number is required when RBL bank’s customer contact the bank’s customer care service or IVR. Follows the steps given below to generate TPIN:
Step 1: You need to contact the RBL bank’s customer care number +91 22 6232 7777 or +91 22 7119 0900
Step 2: Press on number ‘3’ for ‘Credit Card’ option
Step 3: Press on ‘2’ for ‘Cards Menu’
Step 4: Fill in your 16-digit RBL credit card number and click on #
Step 5: Once your call is connected to the RBL bank’s customer care service, you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
Step 6: You will have to enter you 16-digit credit card number once again and click on #
Step 7: Enter your 4-digit PIN
Step 8: You will receive one more OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP followed by a #
Step 9: You will receive a confirmation message on your mobile number
RBL Bank usually dispatches a new credit card through post or courier to your registered mailing address. However, unlike earlier days, you may not find the card's PIN along with the card.
The credit card PIN would be sent separately to your mailing address. In case, you haven't received one, you can generate the PIN on your own using any one of the above mentioned channels.
When the bank dispatches the card, it's already in active state. However, a PIN is required to start using it. Therefore, once you generate the PIN and use it for any PIN-required transactions such as at ATMS, retail terminals or online purchases, your RBL credit card gets activated automatically.
To change or reset existing PIN for your RBL bank credit card you can use any one of the below mentioned options.
The following describes how to create an RBL credit card PIN:
You can use the same PIN generation page of RBL bank website - https://applications.rblbank.com/creditcard-pin-change to set PIN for your add-on credit card as well. In the date of birth column, enter the DOB of primary card member instead of add-on cardholder's DOB.
In case of renewal RBL bank credit cards, you can continue using previous card's PIN. However, if you wish to change the PIN, you can generate a new PIN using any one of the above-mentioned methods.
Before generating a PIN for a blocked RBL bank credit card, you need to unblock it. You can unblock the RBL bank credit card either through RBL mobile app or by calling RBL bank customer care helpline.
