Step 12: For one nominee, you can add 100%. For multiple nominees, you can break down the percentage of amount they will receive.
Step 13: Click on 'Save EPF Nomination'. Click on 'E-Sign', following which a pop-up will appear 'Do you wish to proceed for e-sign?'. Click on 'Proceed'.
Step 14: You will be directed to the 'Demographic Authentication page'.
Step 15: Enter your virtual ID, tick the consent box, and click on 'Verify'.
Step 16: The E-hastakshar page will open where you will have to tick the box.
Step 17: In the next step, enter your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID and click on 'Get OTP'.
Step 18: A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP, give your consent, and click on the 'Submit' button.
Step 19: You have successfully filed your e-Nomination online.
It is advised that you finish the e-Nomination process right away to ensure that your family members have a smooth claim process.
If a PF member passes away before collecting the pension and there are no eligible family members, the nominee will receive the pension amount.
