How to Register a Beneficiary in Axis Bank

  1. Login to Axis Bank internet banking by providing username and password
  2. Enter beneficiary details that falls under the 'Other Bank Account' option
  3. Under beneficiary detail fill in the beneficiary name, account number, IFSC code, branch name
  4. Accept conditions and hit the 'Submit' button
  5. Verify beneficiary details by entering login id, transaction password, and click the 'Submit' button
  6. The final step is to click the 'Activate Beneficiary' option.

Axis Bank NEFT Timings

Presently, Axis Bank NEFT transactions will be processed during the working hours of the bank from Monday to Saturday. NEFT services cannot be availed on bank holidays.

Who is Eligible to Use Axis Bank NEFT?

NEFT transactions can be made by any user of an Axis Bank account in accordance with the Axis Bank NEFT schedules. Direct cash transfers from the branch can also be done through the Axis Bank NEFT form. A transaction can be carried out offline if the remitter hasn't enabled internet or mobile banking. 

In this case, completing a NEFT transfer would require you to go to the closest Axis Bank office. The remitter can only serve the beneficiaries of the bank that has enabled NEFT. The official website of the Reserve Bank of India has a list of banks that support NEFT.

Limitations of Axis Bank NEFT
