Step 3: Choose the specific bank account for which you wish to create a UPI PIN. If you have not set a UPI PIN for this account before, you will see a 'SET' option.

Step 4: Enter the last six digits and expiry date of your Debit/ATM card.

Step 5: You will receive an OTP (One-Time Password) from your bank on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP on the next screen, along with the UPI PIN you wish to set for the account and click 'submit'.

UPI Payments Sets a Big Record in May 2024

The previous high of 13.3 billion transactions in April was surpassed by a record 14.04 billion transactions made using India's digital payments system, UPI, in May 2024. Additionally, the value of transactions increased from Rs 19.64 lakh crore in April to Rs 20.45 lakh crore in May.
