How to get No-Dues Certificate

Once you have cleared all the dues of your loan amount, you can request a no-dues certificate from the bank. A No-Dues Certificate is a formal letter issued by the bank that states that a person has paid all the pending dues and completed the full and final settlement. The bank will issue this certificate only if an individual has cleared the payment of the complete loan amount.

The No Objection Certificate or No-Dues Certificate explains that a person is debt-free from a bank or any other financial institution. Usually, the lender issues the certificate once the borrower completes the full and final settlement. In case your bank fails to issue the no-dues certificate, you can write an application requesting the bank to issue the same.

How to Write an Application Requesting a No-Dues Certificate

A no-dues certificate is issued by the branch manager of the bank from where you have taken the loan. If you haven’t received the no-due certificate from your lender, you need to write a letter to the branch manager of the bank requesting to issue the no-due certificate.

The format of the no-due certificate includes the address of the receiver, date, subject, body of the letter that mentions all the details, and the closure of the letter.
