How to Update Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card

1.  Visit Official website of myAadhaar UIDAI in that click Locate an Enrolment / Update center near you.    
2. You can search the nearest Aadhar Seva Kendra on myAadhaar UIDAI's official website.
3. Visit the Permanent Enrolment Centre.  You must carry the Aadhaar Card when you to the enrolment centre.

1. Once the request has been processed, you will receive an Update Request Number (URN). The status of the request can be checked with the help of the URN.  A charge of Rs.50 will be levied to change the mobile number.

It may take up to 30 days for your mobile number to be updated in Aadhaar’s database.

How to Add/Update Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card Offline

You can register your mobile number with UIDAI after adding it to your Aadhaar card. All Aadhaar-related notifications and OTPs will be delivered to this mobile number. The steps to add/change your mobile number to your Aadhaar card are as follows:

Step 1 - Go to the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.

Step 2 - Complete the Aadhaar Enrolment Form.

Step 3 - Include your mobile number in the form.

Step 4 - Submit your form to the concerned authority.

Step 5 - Provide your biometrics to authenticate your information. You are not required to submit any documentation.

Step 6 - Pay a fee of Rs.50.

Note: There is no need to register again if you provide your mobile number during enrollment

How to Check the Status of Aadhaar Card Linked with Mobile Number

The two methods for determining whether your mobile number is linked to your Aadhar card are as follows:

Method 1

Step 1 - Visit the official website of UIDAI.

Step 2 - Under the Aadhaar Services section, click on the ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’ option.

Step 3 - Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, and captcha code after selecting ‘Verify Mobile Number.'

Step 4 - Click ‘Send OTP’ to see if your mobile number has been validated with UIDAI data.

Method 2

Step 1 - Visit the official website of UIDAI.

Step 2 - Under the Aadhaar Services section, click on the ‘Verify Email/Mobile Number’ option.

Step 3 - Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code.

Step 4 - Click on the ‘Proceed And Verify Aadhaar’ option to check if your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card.
