  4. Proof of the financial standing of the sponsor, such as employment certificates, savings account passbook, bank statements and tax receipts.
  5. In case the applicant has resided in Hong Kong previously, proof of the same must be submitted.
  6. An undertaking from the sponsor, confirming that he/she will be arranging the applicant's accommodation, or proof that the applicant has been enrolled in an authorised boarding school.
  7. Other supporting details and documents as requested by the authorities in certain cases.

Following are the documents you will require when applying for a Hong Visa for employment reasons:

  1. Form ID (E) 936, duly filled and signed.
  2. Business Registration Certificate, Articles of Association and Memorandum of Incorporation and/or Certificate of Incorporation of the sponsor (copy).
  3. Income tax return, profit tax return, trading profit and loss account of the sponsor or his/her company to show his/her financial standing.
  4. List of the company's staff with position held and salary offered along with list of expat staff currently or previously recruited from abroad.
  5. Letter of appointment or service contract of the applicant along with information regarding salaries, benefits and post (copy).
  6. Complete description of the post of the applicant.
  7. Information, along with evidence, of the relevant experience required of the post as well as academic qualifications of the applicant (certificates, diplomas and testimonials).
  8. Letter from the employer along with proof explaining why the post can't be filled domestically.
  9. In case the applicant is replacing an individual who is already employed in Hong Kong, information regarding his/her whereabouts must be provided.
  10. In case the applicant is being employed in a new post, a letter explaining the reason why his/her services are required must be provided.
  11. In case the applicant has resided in Hong Kong in the past, evidence of the same should be provided.
  12. Other supporting documents and details as requested by the authorities in certain cases.

Documents Required When Applying for a Hong Kong Visa for Training Purposes

Following are the documents you will require when applying for a Hong Kong visa for training purposes:

  1. Form ID (E) 936, duly filled and signed.
  2. Business Registration Certificate, Articles of Association and Memorandum of Incorporation and/or Certificate of Incorporation of the sponsor (copy).
  3. Income tax return, profit tax return, trading profit and loss account of the sponsor or his/her company to show his/her financial standing.
  4. Information, along with evidence of the experience and academic qualifications of the applicant (income tax return, profit tax return, trading profit and loss account).
  5. Information, along with evidence of the experience and academic qualifications of the applicant (certificates, diplomas and testimonials).
  6. Employment agreement or contract (copy).
  7. Details regarding the training course or program.
  8. An undertaking from the sponsor stating that the individual will receive training in his / her company or organisation for the period specified, and that the individual will return to his home country after the completion of the training program.
  9. Other supporting documents and details as requested by the authorities in certain cases.

Visa Fees and Payment

Regular visas are available for pickup in four business days, and the cost is Rs. 1200. The cost of an urgent visa is Rs. 2100, and it can be obtained in two or three working days. Visa fees can only be paid by demand draft, made out to a national bank or an international bank located in New Delhi. Drafts of demands ought to be made in support of the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi. On the back of the DD, you must include the drawer's complete name and phone number.
