Union Bank of India customers have to follow the steps mentioned below to activate their Green PIN at an ATM:
Step 1: Visit any Union Bank of India ATM closest to you.
Step 2: When at the Union Bank of India ATM, insert the Union Bank debit card the bank has just given you.
Step 3: Choose the language of your preference.
Step 4: Next, from one of the options displayed on the screen, choose the 'Generate Green PIN' option.
Step 5: As soon as you have clicked on that, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 6: Click on 'validate OTP', and enter the OTP that has been sent to your registered mobile number.
Step 7: Now, choose a 4-digit PIN.
Step 8: Re-enter the PIN.
Step 9: Click on 'confirm PIN'.
Step 10: As soon as that is done, your debit card PIN will be activated. Union Bank will send you a message stating that your Green PIN has been generated and activated.
Instead of activating your Green PIN at an ATM, Union Bank of India customers can also carry out the process on their mobile phones through the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service. Now, follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Make sure that your mobile number is registered with Union Bank of India, call 1800-2222-44.
Step 2: Next, the automated voice response will ask you to choose the language of your preference. Choose 1 for Hindi, 2 for English and so on.
Step 3: Next, select 2 on your handset for debit card related queries.
Step 4: Now, choose option 4 on your handset for ATM PIN options
Step 5: Next, choose option 1 to receive the tracker ID of your debit card.
Step 6: Enter your Union Bank of India account number and press 1 to confirm the number.
Step 7: After that, enter your 16-digit debit card number.
Step 8: For the next step, enter your date of birth in the DDMMYY format.
Step 9: You will now receive the tracker ID of your debit card.
Step 10: You will now have to call 1800-2222-44 again.
Step 11: Choose your language, choose debit card queries and ATM PIN options.
Step 12: Now, enter the ATM PIN of your choice and the expiry date of your debit card.
Step 13: Re-enter your PIN as a confirmation.
Your Union Bank of India Green PIN will now have been activated.

Step 1: Enable the internet banking service on your Union Bank of India account.
