SBI’s internet banking services can also be used to block a debit card that is lost or stolen. The following are the steps to block a debit card online:
Step1: Login to the SBI internet banking website.
Step2: Click on the ‘e-Services’ tab on the dashboard.
Step 3: Select ‘ATM Card Services’, then ‘Block ATM Card’ from the drop-down list.
Step 4: Choose the ATM card you wish to block.
Step 5: Select the reason for blocking (lost or stolen) and click ‘Submit’.
Step 6: Choose OTP as the authentication method, enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number, and click ‘Confirm’.
Step 7: A ticket number will be sent to you for future reference once the card is successfully blocked.
