The claim settlement process for a cashless claim is mentioned below:

Step 2: At the hospital reception, present your Star Health ID card for proof of identity.

Step 3: Submit the relevant documents such as doctor consultations and pre-admission investigations.

Step 4: Your identity will be confirmed by network hospitals, who will then submit a properly completed pre-authorization form to Star Health Insurance.

Step 5: All of the submitted documentation will be verified by the doctors before the claim is processed.

Step 6: If necessary, a field doctor assigned to the case might see the patient at the hospital.

Step 7: Following discharge, the hospital will submit the claim documentation to Star Health Insurance. The insurer will pay the hospital the authorised sum. 

Star Health Insurance Reimbursement Claim Process

Reimbursement claims can be made at both network and non-network hospitals. The steps to file a reimbursement claim are listed below:  

Step 1: Notify Star Health Insurance within 24 hours of being admitted to the hospital.
