Enrolling in the Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana is not the same as purchasing a regular insurance plan. To enrol in this scheme, you need to visit the nodal agency designated to handle the enrolling procedure. A nodal agency is any institutional arrangement designated by the state/central government or a union territory of India. The claim process for the Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana scheme is simple and hassle-free. You can make a claim in the following four circumstances:
Death Claim Process:
In the event of death, the nominee must file a claim using a death certificate. When a beneficiary passes away, the Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana scheme should still be active. The claim must be filed to the Nodal Agency official who will complete the verification process. During the process, the official will confirm that the deceased individual was an earning member of a Below Poverty Line (BPL)/Marginally Above BPL family. The deceased person's occupation will also be considered.

Scholarship Claim Process:
You have to fill Aam Aadmi Bima Yojana Scholarship online application form and submit it to the designated Nodal Agency. The Nodal Agency will choose the qualified students. Under this scheme, Rs.100 will be paid to a child per month. The student list will subsequently be sent to the respective P&GS section. There will be information about the students, including:
